A new type of home fragrance product launched on IndieGoGo on October 18th — the Renaisscent Digital Fragrance Diffuser. It disperses fragrance packaged in capsules, and is controlled through an app.
The diffuser requires fragrance capsules, which are made with eco-friendly materials. There are four series of scents — Relaxation, Oriental Meditation, Attractive Sensuality, and Cosmopolitan Cities. Each Renaisscent fragrance capsule comes with three different aromas for a total of twelve options.
After placing the capsule into the diffuser, the Renaisscent app recognizes the scent it contains, and displays the fragrance options with icons on your smartphone’s screen. The user can use the app to customize the density and duration of diffusion.
The company describes an example, saying, “It can diffuse rose and fig aromas for five minutes, then lemon and grapefruit, automatically switching fragrances like playing a symphony.”
Renaisscent says it is “committed to designing high-quality fragrances applied with smart technology.” The project has a month left to raise funds. As of today, the company has raised $7,430 of its $35k goal.
