The entrepreneurs behind 18|8 are setting out to transform the American barbershop into a modern-day setting with the launch of a new franchise, Griff's Ace Barbers & Shave Bar.
Scott Griffiths and Ron Love co-founded 18|8 in 2001 and began franchising the popular California-based salon in 2012. 18|8 is a full service premium salon that specializes in men's hair styling and grooming, and has grown nationally to 100 locations in five years.
Griff's Shave Bar gets its name from the Griff's product line, shown above, sold exclusively at 18|8 salons nationwide. The proprietary water-based haircare and shave products are made from the finest ingredients and include mustache wax, aftershave, post-shave balm, shaving cream, shave prep, pomades and scalp conditioner.

Griff's Shave Bar will feature industrial vintage décor, today's music and top-notch service in a comfortable space. The goal is to give men quick, easy service that does not sacrifice quality.
A corporately-owned location of Griff's Shave Bar is currently operating in Irvine, California. The brand is focusing on expansion in contiguous locations where there are clusters of 18|8 Fine Men's Salons, through franchising and company-owned stores.
