Lancôme is collaborating with Jack McCollough (shown above, left) and Lazaro Hernandez (above, right) of Proenza Schouler, on a new, limited edition cosmetics collection. The line will launch for Fall 2018.
The make-up collection will be "a reflection of the boldness and modernity that drive these two creators," Lancôme states, continuing, "By inviting Proenza Schouler to explore their vision of beauty, Lancôme once again asserts its passionate connection with the world of fashion."
Lancôme has a history with fashion collaborations, and has partnered with Alber Elbaz, Yiqing Yin, Alexandre Vauthier, Jacquemus, Anthony Vaccarello, the Sonia Rykiel brand, and recently, Olympia Le-Tan.
Françoise Lehmann, General Manager of Lancôme International, says, "Borne by the radical approach of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Proenza Schouler fashion is the manifesto of a strong, free femininity. The idea of 'empowerment' is at the heart of their values, just as it has always been at the heart of the Lancôme philosophy."
Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, co-founders and designers of Proenza Schouler, add, "Lancôme has always represented the epitome of luxury beauty products, so it is like a dream come true to be able to collaborate with such an iconic and historic brand."
The Lancôme x Proenza Schouler collection will be available in Lancôme point of sales as of July 2018.
