Albea held a press conference at the Luxe Pack New York Show in May to discuss the latest trends, and some of its recent innovations.
Ten Global Trends

- Fast Beauty — Launch rate, “consumer crave” and “new”
- On & Off — Online sales and offline experiences
- Digital Influence — Peers and bloggers
- Diversity & Inclusion — Products & campaigns, “me-me-me”
- Contract Manufacturing — Speed-to-market and new segments
- Green is the New Black — Eco-consciousness and brand commitment
Working in collaboration with beauty brands, Albéa’s team designs, develops and delivers may tailor-made solutions, based on trends. The supplier’s resources include a global team of supplier partners.
Innovative Makeup Formulas & Packaging
Albéa’s turnkey solutions in beauty include water-encapsulated powders, oil melting lipstick, “bouncy color” for eyes and lips, glittery liquid shadow gels, fragranced stickers, temporary tattoos, and eyeliner in vivid colors. Albea has also worked with many brands to create promotional kits, designed to capture attention and drive sales.
Albéa often partners with well-known and Indie brands, to manufacture and supply products and packaging. Past projects and collaborations have included: Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Lip Color, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Mascara, Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara, CoverGirl Peacock Flare Mascara, Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara, Clinique Marisokko Lipstick, GlamGlow Glowstarter Moisturizer.
Applicators & Brushes
Albéa’s extensive expertise in applicators is another draw for beauty brands. The supplier offers a wide range of applicator and accessory options for makeup and skincare, all of which are designed to work in conjunction with a specific type of formula.
Albéa launched its new TechFiber Mascara Mascara Brush collection this year, which includes these options:
- Discovery Brush: A unique “multi-zone” shape that allows users to achieve a volumizing effect, plus perfectly defined lashes.
- Vision Brush: A sophisticated design with short and long bristles that lengthens and curls lashes.
Dispensing Systems
Albéa’s team is also known for providing all types of dispensing solutions, for fragrance, cosmetic and skincare products.
Albéa provides the pump in the new KKW Body fragrance by Kim Kardashian West. The fragrance, in a sculptural bottle modeled after Kardashian West’s body, is paired with the 100 ml satin silver XD11 pump by Albéa.
The supplier manufactures the XD11 pump in Thomaston, Connecticut, which the company says is its “center of excellence for fine mist in the Americas.” The XD11 pump features an ultra-compact design, harmonious mist, invisible engine, three dosages, and olfactory neutrality.
Albéa’s dispensing systems are also found in NeoStrata Exfoliating Wash, Burberry Mr. Burberry Beard Oil, Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil, Tiffany & Co. Eau de Parfum, Elizabeth Arden Red Door fragrance, St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse, and Estee Lauder Youth-Infusing Serum Makeup.
The Albéa Tips Studio
The Albéa Tips Studio in Morristown, New Jersey, provides beauty customers with a reference for makeup applicators. The studio offers innovation, design and development capabilities, with a one-stop workshop for product development.
The New TearDrop Tube
Albéa Tubes recently launched an innovative packaging option — the TearDrop Tube, which is a drop-by-drop liquid dispensing system on a tube. The smooth nozzle tip provides an easy, intuitive application gesture for the controlled dispensing of liquid formulas.
The TearDrop Tube is ideal for water or oil-based liquid formulas, including serums and liquid foundations.
