At a press conference, Marc Pivaudran, CEO of the Pivaudran Company based in Souillac, France—and specialized in the production of metal parts for the capping or decoration of high-end beauty products—presented the extension work on a new industrial building of approximately 3000 m² which will enable the French firm to increase its capacity for new projectsand to install assembly machines and new presses for follow-on tools (the delivery of a fourth one is planned). Also part of these investments: a new automatic anodizing line, which will be operational by the end of next year and which will double the surface treatment capacity.
This expansion and redevelopment represents an investment of some € 2.7 million for the building itself and € 1.8 million for the equipment. "Sales will exceed €19 million this year,” said Marc Pivaudran, president. "We regularly employ more than 200 people, our reputation has never been stronger and our capacity for innovation is total.” He said there are three important things to know about the company: “First, its philosophy which has always been to reinvest profits in the company and to have a solid equity basis. Then, the importance we attach to team spirit within the company and our commitment in terms of support and training. Finally, the loyalty of our customers thanks to the way we work, namely in a very close and transparent manner, through a constant partnership and in a constructive mindset focused on excellence and innovation."
Perfumery and... cosmetics
Very "perfumery-focused," company officials said they would gradually expand business to cosmetics and, more particularly, makeup...
"We are specialized in the transformation of metal parts for the packaging and the decoration of high-end beauty products,” said Pivaudran. “We are the world leader in this niche and intend to remain so. Two of our key assets are quality and the technicality of our work and they are actually what makes our reputation on the market. We have very good contracts in our traditional sector, not only in perfumery but also in the makeup sector where we are taking part as a contractor, in the launch of a series of mascaras. And we also have excellent contacts in the wines & spirits sector where our decoration capabilities are of interest to brand owners."
