Laboratoires Expanscience has acquired Babo Botanicals, a leading skincare brand for babies and adults with sensitive skin.

Laboratoires Expanscience is a family-owned French pharmaceutical and dermo-cosmetics company that specializes in skin health. The company plans to strengthen its presence in the baby and family category, and also owns Mustela. All three companies are B-certified.

Babo Botanicals is launching at Whole Foods stores, nationwide. The acquisition will allow Mustela to expand as well, gaining access to important U.S. distributors that specialize in premium natural and safe products -- as well as to key retailers.
