This year’s Cosmoprof & Cosmpopack Asia Hong Kong show will feature a hall dedicated to eco-conscious companies promoting sustainability manufacturing initiatives and the use of plant-based ingredients in beauty and personal care.
Show organizers say, “The business of using plants, grown chemical-free, for the manufacture of natural and organic personal care products is booming.” According to Persistence Market Research, the global organic beauty market is projected to be worth just under $20 billion by 2024. Skincare, hair care, and color cosmetics are the top three segments.
The Natural & Organic Zone will be located in Hall 3G at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center.
Exhibiting companies in this area include Lovekins, a skincare brand made with Australian superfoods, in pastel-colored packaging; Éminence Organic Skin Care, renowned for their sustainable practices; Te-Mana from New Zealand; and Pestle & Mortar from Ireland.
The same area will also feature the show’s first-ever Malaysian Halal pavilion, featuring halal-certified cosmetics.
