Nikos Mouyiaris, founder of Mana Products Inc, a cosmetics, skincare and hair care company, passed away on January 5, in New York City, according to an obituary posted by the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC). He was born in the village of Athienou, near Larnaca in Cyprus, in February 1945 and emigrated to the U.S. in April 1964. In 1975, he founded Mana Products Inc.
Mouyiaris was also the founder of the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC), which promotes civic leadership among members of the community.
He was a great supporter and leader of the Greek-American community, and a philanthropist who supported organizations in the U.S., Greece, Cyprus and Africa.
Mouyiaris is survived by his wife Carol and daughter Ariana, grandsons, and many other relatives.
