Urban Skin Rx, a multicultural clinical skincare line, is expanding its retail distribution. The brand has launched at Ulta Beauty and CVS stores, nationwide.
The line will now be available in over 460 Ulta Beauty doors, Ulta's website, and 1,750 CVS drugstores across the U.S.
Medical aesthetician Rachel Roff, shown above, founded the brand in 2010. She is also the founder of Urban Skin Solutions Medspa, one of the first medical spas and laser centers in the country that exclusively caters to ethnic and darker skin tones.
Roff developed the products to diminish and eradicate issues associated with diverse and melanin-rich skin. The products address hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tones, discoloration, rejuvenation, acne and acne scarring, melasma, sun damage and wrinkles.
Roff comments, "Expanding the distribution is a very important milestone...Urban Skin Rx has revolutionized the multicultural skin care category as hair care did five years ago. Partnering with these two powerhouse retailers will continue to elevate the skincare experience for our customers delivering superior results regardless of their skin issues."
Urban Skin Rx is rolling out to its new retailer partners early this year, with new products that include Even Tone Super Glow Serum and Clear & Even Clarifying Glycolic Pads.
