Odore, which provides “a unique personalization tool for brands to create immersive and memorable experiences” has announced a strategic partnership with Aptar, to deliver an “all-in-one” solution for beauty brands.
Launched last year, Odore works with beauty brands to provide samples to consumers through its IoT devices, placed in a variety of locations, including travel-retail, department stores, hotels and lounges, creating a new stream for consumers to access new products. The process is simple; consumers answer a few short questions, Odore’s IoT device learns about their habits and preferences and recommends the most appropriate product for the consumer to try. This is achieved through Odore’s fragrance profiling tool, where it links the choices of consumers’ lifestyle to an appropriate product from one of their brand partners. The product is then in the consumer’s hands within seconds. Odore links this sales process by contacting consumers with further product information and directing traffic to the brand’s website in order to purchase.

Aptar says it will be uniquely positioned within the industry to be able to offer new and innovative technology for the distribution of their samples. Due to the permission-based data gathered, brands can benefit from market research for new product launches.
