CosmeticBusiness, held in Munich on June 5-6 June 2019 proved to be more international this year, according to show organizers, with 449 exhibitors representing companies from 22 countries. Innovation and sustainability were leading topics of interest to trade visitors from 59 countries.
Markus Geisenberger, chief executive officer of German trade fair company Leipziger Messe, said: "Fully booked exhibition halls, a high level of internationality, very satisfied exhibitors and visitors as well as numerous innovations and trends—CosmeticBusiness continues to grow and show that it is the most important industry meeting place for the cosmetics supplying industry in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and to an increasing extent also in neighboring countries.” He added: "With current industry issues such as sustainability, our trade fair was on the cutting edge."
The conference program, was also devoted to the main topics of innovation and sustainability. "Every year CosmeticBusiness presents the most important trends and developments in the cosmetics industry in the conference program,” said project director Ivonne Simons. Sustainable packaging solutions in particular attracted a great deal of interest from visitors at the conference program this year. Lectures on topics such as recyclability and sustainable design were packed."
Simons added: “The success of this year's CosmeticBusiness has already made us look forward to the next edition."
The next CosmeticBusiness will take place June 17-18 2020 at the MOC Munich.
