NJPEC (New Jersey Packaging Executives Club) has two summer events planned for the packaging community: the 12th Annual Charter Fishing Extravaganza, Thursday, August 15, 2019 from the Atlantic Highlands; and a Golf Outing and Dinner on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Black Bear Golf Course, Franklin, NJ.
The Fishing Extravaganza will take place aboard the MI-JO II, a 75-foot party cruise and fishing charter boat, which departs from the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Harbor, at 3:00 p.m. and returns at 8:00 p.m. Boarding begins at 2:30 p.m. and the participation fee includes the rod and bait as well as food and drinks. The Presidents’ Cup Trophy for the largest fish caught will also be part of the festivities.

The NJPEC Golf Outing
The NJPEC Golf Outing on September 17th is a fun and social day on the course with lots of prizes to be awarded. Registration begins at 12 Noon along with the range and putting green opened for golfers to practice and warm up. At 1:00 p.m., there will be a shotgun start with a scramble format. Dinner begins at 5:30 pm and dinner only tickets can be purchased.

“The Fishing Extravaganza and Golf Outing are great ways for NJPEC members and the packaging community to enjoy outdoor activities as well as network with their peers. The money raised also helps fund the numerous packaging scholarships that are the hallmark of NJPEC with up to $40,000 awarded annually,” said Gene Kistler, president of NJPEC.
