Molton Brown, the high-end British luxury brand owned by the Japan-based Kao Group since 2005, has introduced a high-end Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette collection, due to launch in September 2019. According to the brand, this provocative collection of 27 fragrances is based on a concept “which spearheads a pioneering new movement in British Perfumery; made by individuals, for individuals.”
With the unveiling of this premium collection, they aim to establish brand recognition as a fine fragrance house, while expanding the brand’s business operations in Japan and Asia in line with their global expansion strategy.

This collection of exquisite fragrances was created with visionary perfumers from various age groups, backgrounds, and experiences. Based on the concept of “made by individuals, for individuals,” the scents were created purely with an individual wearer in mind, unrestrained by traditional concepts of age, or gender.

The packaging was created by Vincent Villeger, a renowned designer. The design incorporates a ’70s style, and each bottle cap is unique. The concave reflective surface of the glass bottle references the brand’s iconic lens, and the spherical cap was inspired by the architectural designs seen in London’s Mayfair, the birthplace of Molton Brown. In addition, the outer box uses British-made bespoke paper with a debossed texture based on the brand’s iconic compass design, resulting in a premium quality finish.
