Clarins Fragrance Group has announced the grand opening of the Mugler Fragrance Boutique at Macy's State Street Store in Chicago.
The company says the new shop is an "inspirational store exhibit" that celebrates, "The Art of Faceting Dreams." Shoppers will find an "immersive and interactive experience" that showcases the world of Mugler fragrances.
The boutique's open concept allows for a casual and personal interaction between Mugler's team of Staff Specialists and shoppers.
Design Details
The boutique features a pale blue "sky," adorned with a bright silver star -- reminiscent of Mugler's iconic fragrance, Angel, and its star-shaped pale blue bottle. A new perfume fountain features three suspended silver "drops."
Christophe de Lataillade, International Creative Director of Clarins Fragrance Group, says, "With its soft curves and round modules in its architecture, this Mugler boudoir is designed to surprise and trigger personal emotions. It blends Mugler's couture codes, including the furniture's black lining, with oneiric surrealism."
Lataillade says the boutique's surrealist features include 'giving' hands reaching out from one wall, which are holding fragrances.
The shop also incorporates Interactive technology, including a Fragrance Finder system and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system. These provide engaging ways for guests to determine their perfect fragrance match.
A display of 12 "emotional" scents, referred to as "the organ." It is designed to give customers a unique olfactive journey to find the scent that suits them best.
