ELSI Beauty is partnering with Sekhmet Ventures, a venture capital firm, to help fund and launch its personalized product platform for sensitive skin.
ELSI Beauty was founded by skin pharmacologist Dr. Elsa Jungman. The "clean" skincare line is focused on the microbiome. Sekhmet Ventures has provided seed capital and strategic counsel to ensure ELSI's future platform services as many customers as possible.
The new platform will assess data on a customer's skin profile, hormonal changes, and environment to create a tailored "subscription box" of products, including moisturizers and cleansers.
Earlier this year, ELSI Beauty debuted its first product, Let's Start Over Super Moisturizing Serum, a three-ingredient moisturizing and soothing face oil for normal-dry skin types.
