Dark & Lovely commemorated 45 years of revolutionary innovation in 2017 -- and is now celebrating a "modern day brand refresh," the company states.
Dark & Lovely was the first-to-market hair color brand catering specifically to the African American consumer -- and remians proudly dedicated to its legacy.
The brand's fresh new look includes a new logo and brand aesthetic.
The "Dark & Lovely & __ " campaign celebrates those who authentically express who they are and encourages women to recognize their infinite, internal power, helping them to find their individual voice.
Kristen Blandon, Vice President of Marketing at SoftSheen-Carson, states, "The Dark & Lovely consumer is bold, she is dynamic and she is constantly changing. To continue to be the brand she chooses for her evolving hair needs, we must evolve too."
This rebrand will continue to provide women of color with state-of-the-art hair care technologies that they can trust, while also empowering them to feel and be confident in who they are, both inside and out.
The all new Dark & Lovely is just getting started and will continue to evolve with new innovations to come in 2020.
