Selena Gomez is launching a makeup line this summer at Sephora -- Rare Beauty.
Gomez -- an actress and singer -- talks about the name in the vieo below. "Rare" is also the name of her latest album.
In the video, Gomez says, "Rare beauty isn't about how other people see you - it's about how you see yourself."
WWD reports that Rare Beauty’s chief executive officer Scott Friedman is one of many veteran beauty execs the brand has recruited. Friedman is the former CEO of NYX.
