Winky Lux will roll out to Target stores on Sunday, March 1st -- joining the retailer's other notable digitally native brands.
Target will carry over 68 SKUs, ranging from the brand’s best-selling Flower Balm to its White Tea Tinted Veil Moisturizer. The brand also qualifies for Target Clean, which are products that are formulated without commonly unwanted chemicals, including Phthalates, propyl-parabens and butyl-parabens.
Eye-Catching Displays, Including Neon Signs
Similar to Winky Lux’s own standalone experiential stores, the Winky Lux collection at Target will feature its signature eye-catching displays, including neon signs, an oversized lipstick factice, and an eye catching display of its aforementioned Flower Balm.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be launching with Target to expand the joyful beauty community we’ve created online and through our retail stores in Nashville and New York City,” said WInky Lux founder, Natalie Mackey, shown above. “We look forward to continuing to bring both our brand to life inside Target's doors and introduce our cosmetics and skincare to our loyal customer base and beyond.”
Winky Lux was boot-strapped for its first two years (2015-2017) while building and launching, before raising a seed round ($2 million) in 2017 and a Series A ($6 million) in 2018.
With the introduction into Target, Natalie and the brand continue to expand current stockist and retail ventures which include Nordstrom, Sephora (US + UK), Ulta, Macy’s, Bloomingdales and two stores in New York City and Nashville.
