In light of recent developments regarding the coronavirus—including restrictions placed on international travel and public gatherings—Indie Beauty Expo’s organizers have decided to cancel IBE Berlin 2020 and postpone IBE Dallas 2020.
IBE Berlin Canceled
IBE Berlin was scheduled to take place March 25-26, 2020. As recently as two weeks ago, the event organizers were assuring exhibitors and attendees that the event would take place as planned.
The organizers allege that in February they considered postponing IBE Berlin to June, but the venue had no availability in June, and the majority of the exhibitors expressed a preference to keep the event on its scheduled date. Since then, coronavirus spread, new restrictions were placed on events and the Trump Administration announced new travel restrictions between the US and Europe. As a result, the event organizers finally made the decision to cancel IBE Berlin.
IBE Dallas Postponed
IBE Dallas, which was originally scheduled to take place in May, has been moved to June 11-12, 2020. The organizers of the event believe that June is a “lower risk month.”

And we ask for your continued patience and understanding as we work through these unprecedented circumstances to continue to serve you,” said Nader Naemi-Rad and Jillian Wright, Indie Beauty Media Group co-founders, in a statement.
