Manchester-based beauty and wellness brand group, The Hut Group, is creating more than 500 new job roles across manufacturing and distribution in response to a surge in demand for its health, beauty and nutrition products across its brands.
The beauty group says it is also experiencing record levels of demand for its technology and operating platform, which enables brands to be taken direct to consumers over the internet.
The Hut Group originally planned to start hiring later this year, but in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and crisis, the plans were pushed forward to now. The majority of the new roles announced will be in the group’s manufacturing and fulfillment center based in Warrington, Cheshire, with the remainder spread across its sites in Wroclaw, Poland and Kentucky, USA.
The Hut Group hopes to offset the job losses caused by the economic impact of the coronavirus over recent weeks, particularly in the North West region of England, where The Hut Group is based.
Matthew Moulding, founder and CEO of The Hut Group, commented, “Some of the region’s biggest employers have had to make incredibly tough decisions in recent days, leaving a worrying number of people out of work at such a vulnerable time. Our message to those affected is that we will look to do whatever we can to help, and so we are bringing forward our recruitment plans. We are now hiring across our manufacturing and logistics sites with immediate effect. We need you and would be thrilled to provide you with a new opportunity at this incredibly challenging time.”
Vacancies will be posted here.
