LVMH stepped up in Europe to respond to the hand sanitizer shortage -- and now Coty has joined the frontlines in the U.S. in the battle against the coronavirus.
Coty has assembled a team to manufacture and package hydro-alcoholic gel, a hand sanitizer.
The company is providing it free of charge to local authorities, to get it where it is needed most -- in the hands of medical and emergency services.
The company posted this message on Instagram - see it below:
In response to the exceptional measures announced in many countries to manage the Covid-19 public health crisis, Coty is adjusting the production of some of its manufacturing sites to be able to provide free of charge hydro-alcoholic gel to medical and emergency services, where this is needed by local authorities.
We stay close to our communities during these exceptionally challenging times.
Other beauty companies are doing their part as well, along with packaging industry suppliers updating us on how they are affected during the COVID-19 crisis.
