It's A 10 Haircare is donating $5.4 million worth of personal care products to help those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The brand is partnering with Good360, which will help distribute the products to its network of diverse non-profits, reaching hospitals, homeless shelters, those going through financial crises, and more. The donation includes over 211,000 products -- shampoos, conditioners, and hand creams.
Carolyn Aronson, CEO and Founder of It's A 10 Haircare, says, "Throughout the day, I hear stories of how every single person is being impacted by this global pandemic – from those fighting the illness, the courageous healthcare workers on the front lines, and to those financially burdened - and knew I needed the brand to step in to help."
Aronson continues, "That's why I wanted to donate product to anyone struggling right now. Not only can haircare and skincare products be an essential need to so many people, but I hope by receiving this donation, it will also be seen as a small glimmer of joy in a person's day despite the uncertain times we're facing."
Matt Connelly, CEO, Good360, adds, "With the sharp increase in individuals who are recently unemployed and families that are now struggling to make ends meet, there has never been a greater need for essential products, and we will continue to work closely with our corporate donors and nonprofit network to provide critically needed supplies to communities throughout the country."
It's A 10 Haircare is also collaborating with Donate Beauty and the Selfless Love Foundation to provide products to people in-need spanning across multiple communities. These philanthropic endeavors build upon the many other charitable organizations It's A 10 Haircare and Aronson are proudly involved with, including the Guy Harvey Research Institute, Best Buddies Program, Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Efforts, and many more.
