Beiersdorf Canada, the makers of Nivea, announced a national support plan to combat COVID-19. Watch the video below, which debuts the brand's #ShareTheCare campaign.
The campaign is a part of Beiersdorf's global 'Care Beyond Skin' program, launched in Germany in March 2020, which included the donation of more than 50 million Euro and 1 million liters of disinfectant to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
Localized efforts in Canada include:
- Direct financial support totaling $750,000 dollars donated to Food Banks Canada, Save the Children and the Canadian Red Cross to aid in Covid-19 crisis management
- Donation of 78,000 units of hand sanitizer to health care facilities across Canada
- Donation of more than 150,000 units of NIVEA and Eucerin hand-care products to medical personnel whose skin is currently particularly strained.
