istyle Inc., the operator of @cosme, an Asian cosmetics/beauty website, has ranked The Best New Cosmetics Products for the first half of 2020.
These awards cover products released between December 11, 2019 and April 30, 2020 that have gained the most support from consumers, based on reviews written by @cosme members. The lineup of award-winning products reflects the opinions of ordinary consumers.
The Grand Prize went to the Clarifique Dual Essence Lotion by Lancôme, which received the most favorable response from users on @cosme. The product is an essence lotion that also contains oil for added moisture. Additionally, it contains enzymes to “help eliminate dead skin cells and support skin renewal.”
The second-place prize went to Skin Clear Cleanse Oil Aroma Type by Attenir. This cleansing oil contains five oils, including rockrose and immortelle oils that target stains caused by oxidization, baobab oil and argan oil that condition the skin, and coral grass oil that combats saccharization stains. It has a “relaxing aroma oil fragrance.”
The third-place winner was Elixir Superieur Luminous Glow Mist by Elixir. Apply this mist over makeup “to achieve an instant, luminous glow and anti-aging treatment.” The mist particles provide a layer of hydration that “promotes suppleness and a dewy complexion.” It is scented with a floral fragrance.
