The Estée Lauder Companies has formed a third brand cluster—and Jane Hertzmark Hudis, John Demsey, and Stéphane de La Faverie, shown above, have new roles.

Jane Hertzmark Hudis is Executive Group President
Jane Hertzmark Hudis has been promoted to executive group president—becoming the first woman at the company to hold this title.
Throughout her career, she has made an impact driving brand-building expertise, spearheading the elevation of marketing and talent, and leading her portfolio of brands to achieve broad-based growth across categories, regions and channels, says ELC.
As executive group president, her portfolio of brands will include Estée Lauder, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, Aerin, Origins, Aveda, Bumble and bumble, Dr. Jart+ and Do The Right Thing. She will continue to report directly to Fabrizio Freda, president and CEO, The Estée Lauder Companies.
John Demsey, Executive Group President
John Demsey, executive group president, will continue to oversee M·A·C, Clinique, BECCA, Too Faced, Smashbox, Glamglow and Tom Ford Beauty, and will be a key advisor to the new brand integration capability.
He will also continue to lead ELC’s enterprise-wide Creative Organization, and will continue to report directly to Fabrizio Freda.
Stéphane de La Faverie is Now Group President
Stéphane de La Faverie has been promoted to group president, The Estée Lauder Companies, while continuing in his role as global brand president, Estée Lauder and Aerin.
According to ELC, this promotion reflects Stéphane’s track record of building and leading global brands, his expertise across categories and channels, and understanding of local relevance.
As group president, Stéphane’s new portfolio of brands will include Jo Malone London, Aramis and Designer Fragrances, Le Labo, Darphin, Lab Series, By Kilian, Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, Rodin olio lusso and Prescriptives. He will report directly to Fabrizio Freda in his role as group president, and will continue to report to Jane Hertzmark Hudis for his global brand president responsibilities for Estée Lauder and Aerin.
