The team at Fekkai is getting the word out about its new haircare line, CBD Scalp Calming Collection, with a fun promotion. Watch the brand's founder, Frédéric Fekkai, explain it in the video below.
Fekkai is "hiring" a temporary "Chief Shower Officer" (CSO) to "work" from October 1 to October 31. Beauty fans 21 and older should apply for the "position" by September 24 by submitting a video, no longer than 60 seconds -- and answering these questions.
Applicants will need to post their videos on their Instagram feed using the hashtag #fekkaicalm. The winner will receive $5,000 and a 30-day supply of the new line.
Frédéric Fekkai comments, "We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the launch than hiring someone to put the products to the ultimate test."
What are the CSO's job duties?
Each week, the 'CSO' will need to wash and condition their hair three to four times, use the hair mask once or twice, and apply oil once or twice.
The winner will also need to submit 1-2 photos each week of their "hair lathering process" -- and turn in a weekly Suds Report, chronicling their experience using the products.
About Fekkai's CBD Scalp Calming Collection
The Fekkai CBD Scalp Calming Collection is formulated with a proprietary blend of non-THC broad-spectrum CBD. It is sourced from organically cultivated hemp extract, grown in the U.S. It calms the scalp and keeps it deeply hydrated, while cleansing.
The collection consists of four CBD Scalp Calming products -- shampoo, conditioner, a hydrating mask, and Supreme Oil.
The Packaging is Sustainable
Fekkai's CBD Scalp Calming Collection, shown above, is in sustainable packaging. It is made with 95% high-grade repurposed plastic and is 100% recyclable.
