International Women's Day is March 8th—and beauty executives, brands, and retailers are celebrating in various ways.
Since women are under-represented in tech, including e-commerce, Hubspot's CX Spotlight 2021—The Virtual Customer Experience Conference, puts "remarkable women leaders in the spotlight" during five different events on March 2nd, 1 pm - 5 pm GMT. (Converted to EST, it is 8 am - 12 noon.)
Unilever's Ridhima Thukral, global brand marketing director, will speak from 1:50 - 2:25 (8:50 am - 9:25 am EST) about "the role of brand power in consumer experience."
NYX Cosmetics' latest campaign includes a video series in partnership with Reform Alliance —#HearHerStory—which aims to help amplify women's voices in the criminal justice system. The series, which will go live on March 8th, highlights the stories of three women on probation and parole. The videos explore the profound impact of makeup, as it relates to self-esteem and well-being, for these women.
“This International Women’s Day, we are proud to champion and represent all women,” said Yann Joffredo, Global Brand President of NYX Professional Makeup. “We are honored to have the opportunity to amplify REFORM Alliance’s mission to our audience, and to ultimately impact change by raising awareness.”
