Rihanna, founder of Fenty Beauty, may launch Fenty Hair next—and fans seem to be already getting in line.
The image above on the right is from a fan's Instagram post, showing that 'RiRi' filed a trademark for the name, Fenty Hair. Actually—her company, Roraj Trade LLC, filed the application with the USPTO.
It covers:
- Non-medicated hair care preparations
- Non-medicated dandruff shampoo
- Hair styling preparations
- Hair straightening preparations
- Hair relaxing preparations
- Hair waving preparations
- Non-medicated hair restoration lotions
- Hair bleaching preparations
- Hair coloring preparations
- Hair glitter
Hair glitter? No wonder the beauty blogs are all abuzz. Despite all the excitement, there is no official statement yet from Rihanna's beauty brands, or her publicist, on when Fenty Hair might launch.
Rihanna seems to be building an empire—Fenty Beauty launched in 2017, followed by Fenty Skin's debut last year.
Rihanna also founded the successful Savage X Fenty lingerie. However, her ready-to-wear fashion label, Fenty, which launched two years ago in partnership with LVMH, was just put on hold.
The Guardian reports on how Rihanna emphasizes inclusivity is a high priority for her brands—especially beauty. No doubt her hair line will as well.
