Laura Geller Beauty has recruited Fran Drescher as the new face of its Spackle primer collection.
Drescher is a "sitcom star turned unexpected influencer," Laura Geller Beauty states. Starring on "The Nanny," which aired its final episode in 1999, Drescher's memorable laugh made her a 90s icon. (FYI: Drescher is currently producing a musical adaptation of the show for Broadway.)
As the new face of Laura Geller Beauty's Spackle primer collection, at 63 years old, Drescher stars in a series of online videos for the beauty brand. "Our goal is to celebrate all women and remind them that they are beautiful and vibrant at every phase of life," says veteran makeup artist and brand founder Laura Geller.
"I never thought I'd get my first-ever beauty contract in my 60s," Drescher says. "I'm thrilled to be the face of a foolproof product that everybody's loved for years."
Laura Geller Beauty's Spackle Primers are a growing category for the brand, and often mentioned in the press. The range features several new products, including:
