A best-selling Korean beauty brand 'Dr.ForHair' is making its debut in the U.S. The K-beauty brand is partnering with Costco to launch its best-selling Folligen Original shampoo in a special edition size.
The shampoo launched on Costco Online, where both Costco members and non-members can shop, and quickly sold out—so there are plans to expand availability to Costco's retail stores in the near future.
David Kwon, CEO, Dr.ForHair, says,"We're excited to announce the success of our official partnership with Costco USA to launch the Dr.FORHAIR brand in the U.S. This launch started with our bestselling Folligen Shampoo, which has helped millions of people over the last 8 years with their hair loss symptoms and as a general scalp care product in Korea."
Folligen Original shampoo helps mitigate hair loss symptoms. It sold 18 million units worldwide, based on accumulated sales from October 2014 to April 2021, and leads the Korean hair loss shampoo industry.
It is hypoallergenic and contains amino acid-based cleansing ingredients, along with and plant extracts. It is designed to "wash away dead skin cells from the scalp while strengthening roots," Allure reports, in a story featuring the shampo as one of Allure Korea's favorite K-Beauty products.
The shampoo was developed based on clinical research and testing in its Scalp Labs based in New York and Seoul.

Dr.ForHair also offers a wide variety of scalp care products including Folligen Sea Salt Scaler, Phyto Therapy Shampoo/Treatment, and more—and plans to further expand its product line in 2021.
