Floral Street has been named as the first fragrance brand partner of the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam.
In a four-year deal across fragrance and scented home products, the partnership will celebrate the works of Vincent van Gogh, and excite audiences globally in appreciation of fine art and fine fragrance. The collaboration will also explore how Van Gogh’s passion for nature has inspired sustainable scent creations.
“I’m honored that Floral Street has been chosen as the first fragrance brand to partner with the Van Gogh Museum. Drawing inspiration from Vincent van Gogh’s timeless masterpieces, we discovered a shared love of nature and finding beauty in the everyday,” said Michelle Feeney, founder, Floral Street. “Through this collaboration, we are able to tell our story in a new way, in which the beauty of art and fragrance meet.”
A fruity-citrus fragrance, the first scent, “Sunflower Pop” is a vegan and cruelty free, luxury eau de parfum. It was created by master perfumer, Jerȏme Epinette, known for his mastery of sustainable natural raw materials, which are traceable from source to scent. It comes tucked inside an eco-hero, reusable, and biodegradable pulp, and Van Gogh’s iconic “Sunflowers, 1889” is replicated on the recyclable bottle and packaging.
Ingredients include natural bergamot, fresh and sweet mandarin, warm honey accord and bellini accord.
This special partnership will see the first global launch in August 2021.
