CosRX, a skin care brand that uses a minimal number of ingredients such as natural extracts, in concentrated doses, has launched its first lip product collection. It's like a new skin care category—lip care.
The new lip collection includes four products to smooth, plump, soften and quench lips:
- Honey Sugar Lip Scrub, a gentle lip exfoliant
- Lip Plump AHA BHA Vitamin C Lip Plumper, a glossy lip plumper that dissolves dead skin
- Full-Fit Propolis Lip Sleeping Mask, an overnight treatment that delivers intense hydration
- Balancium Ceramide Lip Butter Sleeping Mask, a moisturizing balm infused with shea butter and naturally derived ceramides
COSRX says there is an increased demand for lip products due to the Covid pandemic, because wearing masks leads to dryness, irritation, and chapping around the mouth.
"Unlike the rest of the skin on the body, the lips don't have any oil glands. When they feel dry, we tend to constantly lick them, leading to more dryness and chapping," the brand states.
The lip products are packaged in small jars with aluminum lids.
The new lip collection will help buff away dead skin and replenish moisture. The line is sold at ULTA and on the brand's website.
