Abbott, a clean, unisex perfume company based in New York, is launching in Sephora stores across the country.
Sephora will launch an exclusive Exploration set with six Abbott scents available April 19, 2022 via Sephora's website. The physical, in-store Sephora launch of Abbott perfumes will take place on May 6, 2022.
Abbott, an eco-driven brand, was founded in 2016 with a commitment to clean ingredients, sustainability, and cruelty-free practices. To founders Michael Pass and Jose Alvarez, “perfume is an important tool that presents an opportunity to pay attention to the environment.”
“At Abbott, everything we do starts with nature, escaping into it, protecting it, and celebrating it,” says Alvarez.
Furthermore, at Abbott, there is no single-use plastic in its packaging, and its glass bottles are 100% recyclable.
All six perfumes are made from a mix of natural and synthetic materials to ensure precision, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Abbott’s perfume launch at Sephora includes:
- Crescent Beach: Inspired by family trips to Shelter Island, NY in the summer. The floral notes in this perfume include Peony, Lily and Amber Musk.
- Montecito: Inspired by road trips and surfing along the coast of Santa Barbara, CA. Grapefruit, Jasmine and Vetiver are the main notes in this perfume.
- Sequoia: Inspired by a camping trip to Sequoia National Park. Smokey incense mixed with bright, bold and earthy tones from Sandalwood creates a versatile perfume.
- Mojave: Inspired by hikes and retreats with friends in California’s Mojave desert. The main notes are Bergamot, Black Pepper and Tobacco Leaf.
- The Cape: Inspired by a winter surfing escape to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. With notes of Mint, Ginger, and Moss, The Cape is a fresh and cool clean perfume.
- Big Sky: Inspired by Ski trips to Montana. Heavenly, cool and refreshing Spice Marine lifts spirits to new heights, while the spicy woody Cypress emboldens the dry grassy Vetiver at the heart of this perfume.
