K Laser Technology, global manufacturer of holographic and metalized substrates, will be hosting a one-day open house seminar and celebration to commemorate the grand opening of the industry’s first Cold Foil Design Lab.
Located at 1235 Tallevast Rd. in Sarasota, FL, the K Laser Technology Design Lab was created to foster creativity, collaboration and education in modern packaging design.
The Open House event will be hosted on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 9:00am to 5:00pm in the 1,500 square foot space. The event is free and open to printers, converters, suppliers and influencers in the flexo and digital print and packaging industries.
Four technical and informational sessions will be given by industry experts in specialty packaging, digital printing, metallic finishing and pre-press solutions. Demonstrations of K Laser Technology’s digital embellishment unit will occur throughout the day to showcase the capabilities of digital-flexo cold foil applications.

The K Laser Technology Creative Team will be on site to consult on artwork, packaging design, sustainable substrates and specialty effects. The company will showcase their cold foil substrates, KOLDfoil ONE, and a new, sustainable holography solution, Viridian Eco-Paper and Eco-Paperboard in samples and rolls throughout the space.
