The Fashion Group International celebrated its 27th Annual Rising Star Awards on May 8th at Pier Sixty One on the Hudson in New York City. Kimberly Carney, The Wires Founder and CEO, won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
The Wires is a collective of global B2B2C discovery and shopping platforms for fashion, beauty, and home—and it has nearly 1,000 brands across all three platforms.
Carney launched FashWire in 2018 as the first of its kind technology platform that gives fashion designers around the globe a platform to connect with consumers and gather valuable data on shopping preferences and trends.
Carney said, “This is an incredible honor, and I am grateful to Fashion Group International for recognizing the work The Wires has put into building and developing the FashWire, GlossWire and CasaWire platforms.”
She continues, “This recognition solidifies that we are providing an unmatched opportunity for our brands and consumers within the digital and social sectors.
