OPI turns to the stars for its new collection, revealing a celestial color lineup for Fall 2023. The OPI Big Zodiac Energy Collection, launching today—August 1st.
The collection features 12 hues for a colorscope that channels earth, air, fire, and water tones. The glistening multidimensional shade include one-of-a-kind pearls, celestial shimmers, and holographic lacquers.
"We look to the sky and stars for information, for clues to who we are and where we're going...Big Zodiac Energy channels all the hottest colors for the season, from jewel tones with incredible depth to pearlescent hues with a contemporary edge,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI co-founder and brand ambassador.
Each shade represents an individual zodiac sign. "The season’s top trend shade, 'Scorpio Seduction,' is a shimmering cobalt blue (shown in the bottle above) that’s bold and has hidden depths, just like its namesake sign,” says Jill Bartoshevich, OPI's global director of color equity.

- Gemini: Gemini and I—a soft white shimmer
- Cancer: I Cancer-tainly Shine—a holographic silver

- Virgo: #Virgoals—a bronze pearl
- Libra: Feelin' Libra-tated—a shimmery violet
- Scorpio: Scorpio Seduction—a cobalt pearl
- Sagittarius: Big Sagittarius Energy—a burgundy pearl

Partnering with the Sanctuary App
Each color has a different meaning in astrology—and each zodiac sign is associated with a specific color that reflects its personality traits and energies. OPI has partnered with astrology app Sanctuary to develop horoscopes for each shade in the Big Zodiac Energy Collection.Sanctuary’s color horoscopes will be paired with custom content on OPI's social media channels to help consumers connect to the shades that speak to the season or their stars.

The OPI Big Zodiac Energy Collection includes GelColor, Infinite Shine, and Nail Lacquer formulas in bottles, with OPI's signature easy-to-use flat brush applicator.GelColor provides a salon-perfect finish with up to three-week wear, while Infinite Shine offers a high-shine finish and traditional lacquer application. Nail Lacquer features a highly-pigmented, rich formula for even application without streaking.
Select shades are available as dipping powders, packaged in plastic jars. OPI's Powder Perfection dipping powder system delivers a quick, no-light curing application, and offers more than two weeks of wear.
