Coty has welcomed former Google executive and Country Business Director of Meta in France, Pierric Duthoit, as Chief Digital Officer, effective December 1.
“Pierric’s previous experience of growing digital and FMCG businesses at an international scale strongly complements Coty’s strategic digital priorities,” the company stated in an announcement on LinkedIn.
Duthoit joins Coty from Meta, where he most recently served as business director, France.
Prior to Meta, he held executive positions at Google, including industry director of a number of divisions for the Middle East, North Africa.
Duthoit also has experience within the fashion industry, namely at Patagonia, where he served as consultant for Russia for two years, and at Russian fashion platform Woman Journal, where he was CEO for nearly five years.
This move comes as Coty is looking to create new immersive experiences in the digital realm. For example, in April, Coty created an internal metaverse for its 11,000 global employees.
