Coty Inc. has unveiled its 2023 Sustainability Report (reported as July 2022 to June 2023), including new benchmarks across its three pillars: Product, Planet, and People.
In November 2022, Coty announced new packaging targets to guide its progress.
Following these successes, Coty introduced a refill solution for the Maison’s signature fragrance, Chloé Signature Eau de Parfum. Burberry’s first refillable solution, Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum, also launched in July 2023.
In June 2023, the company also switched from a plastic blister pack to a new paperboard outer pack for all its Bourjois color cosmetics in France, avoiding approximately three metric tons of plastic. Coty aims to expand this initiative beyond Bourjois in the future.
“These accomplishments are a point of pride for all of us at Coty. However, they merely serve as stepping stones towards the larger and more ambitious goals we continue to set for ourselves. There is still much more to be done, and we accept the challenge wholeheartedly,” said Coty CEO, Sue Nabi.
