Newsweek has partnered with global research and data firm Statista for the fifth year in a row to create its annual list of America’s Most Responsible Companies—and the Estee Lauder Companies made the cut.
ELC was the highest ranked beauty company on the 2024 list for its holistic approach to corporate responsibility.
Newsweek's America's Most Responsible Companies 2024 list includes 600 of the largest corporations—and 243 companies placed for at least four consecutive years, with 156 companies earning a spot for five years.
“The survey results suggest the companies have been making improvements in certain areas over the last three years, with social responsibility scores notably on the rise,” said Statista senior analysis Michael Bausch.
“The data reflects a gradual but encouraging evolution in companies' efforts to fulfill their responsibilities, highlighting a positive shift in their overall approach," Bausch added.
Also, Estée Lauder has recently launched a new responsible store design to further its sustainability efforts.
