X-Rite and Pantone launched a Brand Color Assessment Profile program to help brands visualize and ensure accurate color reproduction on different packaging materials.
The program helps brands to match brand colors across different packaging types like labels, folding cartons, shelf trays and stand-up pouches.
Using the brand’s specified color, X-Rite Pantone color experts create a personalized Color Assessment Profile that can help to determine:
- If CMYK is accurate for various pack types.
- See how specific colors will look on various packaging materials.
- Help managers and designers make color decisions early in the design phase.
“Color consistency is critical in brand recognition because consumers often associate any color discrepancy with the product quality. Our Brand Color Assessment Profile aims to alleviate this by helping brands understand how color will reproduce early in the design process before color samples are even sent,” said X-Rite Pantone VP of brand global strategic accounts Cindy Cooperman.
