Natura & Co Board of Directors and management are assessing a possible separation of Natura & Co Latam and Avon as two independent listings to further shareholder value.
A separation would result in Natura and Avon as two publicly traded beauty companies with unique business plans, independent management teams and governance to pursue tailored strategies.
This assessment is consistent with Natura & Co’s ongoing strategy to simplify its corporate structure and provide its business units with more autonomy. This also follows the company’s recent divestments if Aesop and The Body Shop.
Natura & Co would continue to operate with both brands in the Latam region so that the potential separation would not impact the integration of the brands in Latin America.
The goal of this study is to assess the full potential of both companies in their distinct geographical footprints. This potential separation would afford shareholders greater visibility into company structure, financial performance and growth prospects.
The strategic investment is being conducted by Natura and Co management, as this happens the company continues to implement Avon’s turnaround strategy as Avon is integrated into Latin America.
Separation will ultimately be decided by the Board of Directors.
