James Alexander Corporation, a manufacturer and contract packager of single-use dispensing systems for beauty and other industrial markets, has completed an expansion of its Blairstown, NJ facility.
The expansion includes an 18,000-square-foot build-out accounting for a 40% increase in overall floor space. This includes additional room for warehousing, manufacturing and administrative offices.
This also addresses growing market needs for the company’s range of single-use dispensing systems, including crushable glass ampoules and plastic ampoules with a section of applicators.
James Alexander Corp. will also build a completely integrated line of automated filling/assembly machines to increase capacity and future growth. The expansion includes two new company-designed automated swabbing machines to increase overall production capacity for glass ampoule packages.
The expansion allows for more warehouse space with HVAC systems for controlled storing temperatures as well as space for designing and building its own equipment as part of James Alexander Corp.’s upcoming manufacturing infrastructure investments.
“This expansion to a 48,000 square-foot facility allows us to meet not only today’s needs, but tomorrow’s as well,” said Francesca Fazzolari, founder of James Alexander Corp. “In addition to making room for substantially increased manufacturing capacity and storage space, we’re now able to enhance production efficiency, improve facility workflow and allow for further capital investments in advanced technologies.”
