Curél, one of Kao Corp.'s "G11" brands, will launch a new skincare duo—a high-tech formula designed to apply with a new beauty device to combat severely dry skin.
The Outfit-for-Skin Potion is applied using the Veil Creator, a specially designed diffusor that applies the product in an "ultra-thin veil," the company says. The products will launch on April 4th.
The new skincare duo utilizes Kao's "Ultra-Thin Membrane Technology" and “Fine Fiber Technology” to diffuse ultra-fine fibers directly onto the skin as an ultra-thin veil.
Products utilizing Kao’s Fine Fiber Technology first launched in 2019. This technology—with new updates—is being applied to Curél’s new skincare duo to provide intense moisture.
Earlier renditions of Kao's Fine Fiber Technology required a two-step care method that required applying a nourishing essence first before diffusing the veil, the company explains. To simplify the application, Kao scientists developed a hydrating beauty essence as the vital ingredient forming the veil.
Curél Outfit-for-Skin Potion is the first product to apply “bleed-out technology,” a process for filling the spaces between the ultrafine fibers of the veil with moisturizing ingredients to nourish the skin. The ultra-thin veil stays in place snugly like a second skin as the moisturizing ingredients seep deeply into the stratum corneum, the company explains.
Developed in partnership with Panasonic Corporation, the Veil Creator is an advanced version of Kao's first Veil Creator diffuser. It is designed to apply an ultra-thin layer of the Outfit-for-Skin Potion on a targeted area in seconds. The freestanding compact device is easy to handle and comes with a sponge for use around the eyes and other delicate areas of the face.
When applied at the end of nightly skincare routines, Curél Outfit-for-Skin Potion and Veil Creator are designed to provide hydrated, firm, and smooth skin by morning.
