Maesa has announced the first round of graduates of its brand incubator program. The #MaesaMagicIncubator launched in July of 2023 and was designed to encourage early-stage entrepreneurs in the beauty and wellness industry from under-served communities.
The program provided three entrepreneurs with a $35,000 grant, a 12-week intensive curriculum tailored to their individual brands and admission to the “Future of Commerce and Work” leadership program hosted by Emerson Group at the Harvard Faculty Club.
The 12-week program consisted of one-on-one fundamentals sessions and six weeks of business lectures. The graduates received four weeks of individualized hands-on training and two weeks of pitch prep.
Haritiage founder and CEO Mindy McKnight and Create & Cultivate founder Jaclyn Johnson also provided graduates with feedback and tools to thrive in the CPG category of Maesa.
“Over the course of our inaugural #MaesaMagicIncubator program, we have endeavored to accomplish our mission of amplifying the voices of beauty entrepreneurs and empowering them to grow their brands,” said Maesa CEO Piyush Jain. “Our goal was to support unparalleled innovation in white spaces that have the capacity to break through and succeed in the market.”
The second cohort of #MaesaMagicIncubator is scheduled for later in 2024.
