Clarins Group, family-owned global cosmetics group, has chosen Dassault Systèmes’ solutions to improve its manufacturing operations to increase the production capacity of its makeup, skincare, spa and wellness products.
Dassault Systèmes will provide Clarins with powerful, unified and flexible manufacturing operations management solutions that will help optimize resources and improve production practices throughout the planning and execution processes.
Dassault Systèmes’ “Perfect Production” industry solution will be used at Clarins’ site near Paris, France as well as in a new high environment quality (HQE) site in Troyes, France. The Troyes facility is scheduled to be operational in late 2024.
“As part of its global development strategy, the Clarins Group is building a second factory in France: a state-of-the-art plant on two aspects, sustainable development and operational excellence. This project follows an ambitious and comprehensive Industry 4.0 road map. To support us, we looked for a global manufacturing solution to streamline and manage production, logistics and maintenance, as well as synchronize warehouse materials. The Dassault Systèmes solutions, with its extensive knowledge of our sector, provide us with the capabilities to succeed in our strategy,” said Business Support Transformation Officer at Clarins, Denis Martin.
The “Perfect Solution” is based on Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIANCE platform and will enable the use of DELMIA Apriso applications to improve efficiency. It will also help ensure a profitable growth of operations. The system is paperless to allow for real-time visibility of operations and performance monitoring.
