Basma Beauty makeup brand has entered the retail space with Sephora. In collaboration with its customers, Basma has also launched The Cream Blush. Products can be found online and in Sephora Canada stores.
Founder Basma Hameed was a part of Sephora Accelerate in 2022. After seeing the success of Basma’s Foundation Stick among TikTok stars, Basma partnered with its TikTok community to develop The Cream Blush.
In July 2022, Basma Beauty posted a video announcing its plan to launch a blush product with insights from followers. Since then, Basma Beauty has distributed samples and sourced real-time consumer feedback. The brand has also included followers in decision-making for formulation, product and shade names as well as social media and marketing plans.
Basma Beauty launched The Cream Blush on February 26. It is designed as a buildable cream blush and lip tint. The formula includes Vitamin E, aloe vera, avocado and apricot oils for overall skin health.
The Cream Blush is packaged in a square bright pink case with a sliding lid.
Each color is formulated to pair with different skin undertones. The Cream Blush colors include
Estee Lauder announced a lipstick collection with Indian fashion designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The ten-piece collection will be available starting March 4.
Also, Pantone and Shades by Shan launched a 2024 Color of the Year Lip Gloss.
