Clarins Hosts a Star-Studded Launch Party for Multi-Active Skincare

Clarins celebrated its latest launch, Multi-Active Skincare line, and marked its 70-year legacy during a star-studded "Y2K" party in Los Angeles. 

Guests included Christina Aguilera and Lindsay Lohan, shown above, along with Brenda Song, Macaulay Culkin, Keleigh Teller, Kelly Piquet, Chris Carmack, Jesse Meltcalfe, and more.

Held at a luxurious private mansion, the private villa was totally dressed in pink—and resembled Multi-Activ's packaging. The skincare collection is in luxe pink jars. 

Multi-Active is a day and night skincare duo formulated to combat stress-induced aging and restore youthful radiance, the brand says.

Clarins Says Mult-Active Took Years of Research

Clarins Laboratories says after years of research, it identified the detrimental effects of stress and fatigue on the skin, referred to as stress-aging. Through meticulous typology studies, the research team uncovered eight visible signs of aging intensified by hectic lifestyles and daily stressors which accelerate the natural aging process.

The research revealed that stress triggers a thinning of the epidermis, compromising the skin's barrier function and altering its texture. In stressful conditions, up to a 24% reduction in epidermal thickness was observed. Moreover, increased stress levels slow down the renewal of epidermal cells, leading to visible premature signs of aging.
