L’Oréal Paris and the McCann Agency unveil the “Worth It Resume” campaign that invites women to share the stories of their failures throughout their lives to highlight the importance of challenges to success.
This is the latest initiative supported by L’Oréal Paris Ambassadors that aims to champion women’s worth. This campaign is from the insight that, according to KPMG, 81% of women feel more pressure not to fail than men.
The “Worth It Resume” campaign features women from around the world. These leading women share their “resumes” on LinkedIn, which highlight their greatest achievements as well as the struggles and setbacks that led them to their success.
L’Oréal Paris Global Brand President, Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, and L’Oréal Paris ambassadors and actresses Eva Longoria, Helen Mirren, Andie MacDowell, Aja Naomi, Jane Fonda, and Kate Winslet are all sharing their own “Worth It Resume.”
This campaign is in the footsteps of the brand’s Lessons of Worth campaign which aims to encourage women to become entrepreneurs without the fear of failure. The “Worth It Resume” campaign is focused on shifting the narrative for women by inspiring women around the world to redefine ‘success.’
“For more than half a century, L’Oréal Paris has been relentless in its dedication to breaking down barriers that prevent women from asserting their self-worth,” said Viguier-Hovasse. “Inspired by the brand’s iconic tagline, “Because I’m Worth It,” which mission is to value self-confidence and give every woman the power to express their worth, the “Worth It Resume” aims to create a new definition of success.”
Longoria commented, “As a woman, I have experienced the immense sense of pressure to be perfect, but I have found that you have to step out of your comfort zone and become comfortable with hitting a few roadblocks in the journey to success.”
