Sephora has appointed Xia Ding as the Managing Director of Greater China and will report directly to Asia President, Alia Gogi.
As Managing Director of Greater China, Ding will lead Sephora’s business in Hong Kong SAR and in Mainland China, overseeing around 350 stores, two e-commerce websites, and a robust ecosystem of digital platforms and apps.
Before Sephora, Ding spent five years as Vice President & General Manager of e-commerce Asia Pacific and Latin America at Nike.
Ding was previously tenured at HanesBrands Inc. for two decades, where she was involved in corporate strategy and led its expansion into China. In 2015, she was appointed the VP of Retail Service at Nielsen in China. Ding later joined JD.com as the President of JD Fashion where she was responsible for driving the fashion business.
