The Cosmetify Hair Care report ranked the top 10 most popular hair care brands in 2024.
L’Oréal-owned Kérastase ranked number one with 12.8 million annual searches. Kérastase also has a substantial social media presence with 2.4 million Instagram followers and 77,000 TikTok followers.
Gisou’s annual search has doubled in the past year with 3.4 million searches. Gisou is also the most followed ranked brand on TikTok with a following of 858,300. The brand also secured the highest engagement rate of 2.3% on Instagram.
Unilever’s K18 brand came in third with 5.3 million annual searches. Despite a lower Instagram following of 866,374, K18 has a higher TikTok engagement rate of 2.38%.
